Inafune a tenté de sauver MML3...

Bonjour à tous.

Une recente interview d'Inafune nous apprend que ce dernier voulait continuer le développement de Megaman Legends 3 avec sa nouvelle compagnie, Comcept tout en collaborant avec Capcom.

L'histoire en VO :

Inafune: So, I told them that I was going to found my own independent company and leave Capcom. However, I stated that I was ready to make a contract with them so that I could keep working on those projects that I started. I couldn’t start making contracts with other publishers for sure if Capcom agreed to the proposition, but I wanted to see those projects that I started to completion. But it couldn’t be done. They answered, ‘We have no need to do that.’"

"[I went to the trouble of]…Finding the right time, gathering the team members, planning strategies, all so we could barely start on Mega Man Legends 3. I really don’t want to quit at this crucial moment…but I can’t keep going at Capcom. I am too tired to keep going. I wanted to leave Capcom to recharge my energy, and support Capcom from there, but it seems they don’t allow it. I want to make all my effort to keep Legends 3 alive, but I’m really not sure I can do it."

En résumé, Inafune voulait collaborer avec Capcom pour qu'il puisse finir ses projets en cours. Ce à quoi Capcom aurait répondu "Nous n'avons pas besoin de ça". Inafune, qui voulait quitter Capcom pour avoir plus de temps libre et récupérer tout en aidant encore Capcom a donc vu sa proposition refusée par Capcom.

En voyant le résultat, on peut se demander si Capcom a réfléchi avant de refuser ou si c'était tout simplement une vengence puéril.

C'est là que je me dis qu'Inafune a vraiment aimé la série ^^

Pff, capcom, ça devient des boulets pour eux même x(

La réaction de Capcom été plus que prévisible, on les voit difficilement retravaillé avec Keiji surtout que la il est aussi question de faire travaillé sont studio indépendant, cela sous entend peut être encore plus de frais qu'un développement interne. Pour le coup s'il voulais vraiment le voir finir, il fallait qui quitte Capcom après la sorti de MML3 et Univers.

Dommage. Remarque, Capcom, ce sont des ratés depuis qu'ils n'ont pas voulu éditer MM 6 chez nous...
